Together with ABN Amro and PwC, Capitalmind Investec organized the 13th edition of the inspiring food event: Food for Growth. The event took place at the beautiful remote location: Landgoed Luchtenburg, where Pieter Dirven of the organic ‘De Smaakspecialist’ enthusiastically welcomed the group of CEOs and CFOs of Dutch Food & Agro companies.

The event revolved around the “protein transition” to a more balanced, sustainable and healthy plant-based food consumption. Central themes were product innovation, how to deal with residual raw material streams, improving taste, texture and health. The main question was: how to ensure a sustainable food transition?

External speakers from renowned food companies provided food for thought: Herman Heijtmeijer (CFO Voergroep Zuid) and Willem Cranenbroek (CEO ME-AT, part of Vion), professionally chaired by Joost Hoebink.

After the official program, there was room for informal drinks, including vegan & organic bites and socializing with industry peers – a meaningful conclusion to an inspiring day.
