Maurits is Manager at Capitalmind Investec and joined the company in 2019.

Maurits is involved in several (cross border) deals, naturally in multiple sectors. His main responsibilities include advising on sell-side transactions, funding, MBOs and company acquisitions.

Besides Dutch, Maurits is fluent in English, German and Portuguese.

Prior to joining Capitalmind Investec as an Analyst, Maurits gained investment experience through a traineeship at Walvis Participaties (VC) and a summer course in corporate finance at the London School of Economics. Furthermore he gained all-round (international) experience through working with several start-ups in the Netherlands and abroad.

Maurits holds a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship & Innovation (Graduated with Distinction) from the French Business School EMlyon and was studying and living for this program in France, China and the US. Furthermore he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Business Economics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
