Investec advises Stor-Age on successful capital raise of R575 million, the JSE’s first major capital raise in 2022

Investec Bank is proud to have assisted Stor-Age Property REIT Limited in successfully raising R575 million through an accelerated bookbuild, which, following strong demand, was several times oversubscribed at a 0.92% discount to the reference price. Investec’s continued connectivity and high contact points in the listed property sector contributed to yet another successful capital raising.

Over Stor-Age

Stor-Age is a pioneer in the South African real estate and self-storage market. Stor-Age has consistently outperformed the listed property index and SA REITs since listing in 2015, with an outperformance of c.192%. The capital increase will be used to fund portfolio-enhancing acquisitions and expansion opportunities in South Africa and the United Kingdom.
