Guillaume Caroit, CEO, Trescal 

Guillaume Caroit joined Trescal in 2007 to oversee M&A for the Group, before becoming Deputy CEO in 2015 and CEO in 2019. Prior to Trescal Guillaume began his career at A.T. Kearney focusing on M&A and operational improvements. He also worked at Materis, in the marketing department before taking charge of acquisitions for Parex, in their mortar division.

Formerly part of Air Liquide and established as an independent company in 2007, Trescal has grown to become one of the world’s largest owners and operators of third-party calibration laboratories with a global network of more than 380 facilities spanning 29 countries. The Company employs 4,400 people and has an annual turnover of around EUR 450 million.

Joep Bruins, CEO, Normec

Joep Bruins is an entrepreneur with a background in the technical and financial sector. He has 10+ years’ of buy and build experience in the fund administration industry as CEO of the Orangefield Group, a financial service provider. Over the space of ten years he developed it from a small national player to an international organisation with presence in over 20 countries.

Following the sale of Orangefield, Joep found a new challenge, to add value to the inspection and certification market, and in 2015 he established Normec with colleagues Marco and Martje.

Normec has 4500 employees operating from 113 sites in 8 countries. Since its inception more than 50 acquisitions have been seamlessly integrated within the Normec Group, marking Normec as a significant player in the TIC sector.
