We actively supported Mérieux NutriSciences during all the process: drafting of LOI, sellers and acquiror teams coordination, execution support during the Due Diligence phase (financial, tax, legal, business, environmental), valuation guidance, negotiation, legal documentation and finance integration.

Capitalmind Investec played a key role in (i) implementing a trusted relationship between the management of Milouda & Migal Laboratories and the management of Mérieux NutriSciences, (ii) coordinating all the process without a sell-side advisor in an international context and (iii) performing a strong operating work and in-depth due diligence analysis.

About the deal

Milouda & Migal Laboratories have become a leading player in the food testing industry in Israel. It offers a full range of microbiology and chemistry testing services, mostly dedicated to food & environment testing. With facilities in Haïfa and Kyriat Shmona (North of Israel), Milouda & Migal Laboratories are one of the two leading laboratories in Israel. The company employs circa 110 employees in Israel.

With this acquisition, Mérieux NutriSciences continues to consolidate its position as a worldwide leader in food safety and strengthens its presence in the region.
