Created in 1996, BTP Consultants is a French TIC company specialized in mandatory technical control of new building construction, real estate diagnosis and H&S compliance. Strong of 500 employees and €60m revenues, BTP Consultants is the market leader in the Paris region.

With the support of Apax Partners and Bpifrance, BTP Consultants aims at developing through organic growth and deploying a buy & build strategy. The company intends to support its development in the regions and will focus on high-growth markets such as BIM (Building Information Modeling), industrialization of construction, energy renovation, real estate diagnosis and complementary digital activities.

Capitalmind Investec has advised Apax Partners on its equity investment into BTP Consultants, providing sector input, valuation guidance, build-up opportunities, advice on deal tactics and execution support.

This deal marks Capitalmind Investec’s 35th transaction in the Testing, Inspection & Certification industry illustrating our strong sector expertise as well as our know how in advising MBO deals.
