Capitalmind Investec advised Eurazeo pme and Omnes Capital in the sale of Fondis Bioritech: including the preparation of the information memorandum and business plan, selection of the relevant strategic buyers and PE funds with sector expertise, management of negotiations and organization of the auction to optimize deal conditions.

About the deal

Fondis Bioritech manufactures state-of-the-art portable equipment for environmental & materials analysis and home inspection. Founded in 1982, the company has grown to become the French leader, with its own dedicated range of innovative devices designed to address the metallurgical and pharmaceutical industries, as well as the security & defence markets. Originally just a distributor, it now develops, designs, sells and rents its own measuring devices, and enjoys solid and recurring revenue streams.

“Our group, that was only a distributor, has become in a few years designer and integrator of technological equipment with high added value,” explains the company’s CEO Eric Vanbalinghem. “With InnovaFonds we will be able to strengthen our positions in the field of security and pursue the development of our own products for measuring asbestos.”
