Capitalmind Investec advised family holding Genairgy on the divestiture of Santecom to a consortium led by Jean Weiss (past Managing Director of Groupe Tests and l’Etudiant) and Entrepreneur Venture Private Equity Fund.

Capitalmind Investec played a key advisory role in defining the transaction strategy and managing a confidential process with strategic acquirors, which were, for some of them, clients or competitors.

Capitalmind Investec also put the emphasis on maintaining a blistering pace in the process, optimizing structuring and meeting shareholder’s timeline and valuation objectives.

About the deal

Santecom is a French company engaged in the publishing of health-related content (eg magazine and professional letters) for pharmacists. Santecom’s main publication is “Bien-être & Santé”, a French leading magazine dedicated to consumer healthcare, with about 438,000 copies sold each month in 2013, representing 1.4 millions readers. The magazine is distributed through a network of 5,000 pharmacies.

This transaction enables Santecom to enter a new development phase.
