Grant is Co-Head of Investec’s Private Companies Fundraising team in London, advising ambitious fast-growing companies seeking growth capital, with a focus on the technology and consumer sectors. He typically works with established businesses who have reached £10m+ revenue, seeking £10m+ in funding, offering them access and connections to the right private capital (debt and equity). He offers a focused process, targeting specific and appropriate potential investors ranging from family offices, to VCs, private equity through to larger institutional funds. Grant enjoys building long-standing client relationships and positioning entrepreneurial businesses to achieve maximum value at their eventual exit point.

Grant joined from finnCap Group where he had launched a Private Company Fundraising offering and prior to that was at Investec where he spent eight years in the Investment Banking division doing mid/large cap advisory for publicly listed clients.  He is also an entrepreneur at heart having managed two high growth investment vehicles (corner-stoned by Investec) as well as co-founded a number of start-ups. He therefore brings a somewhat unique and holistic approach having advisory, investment and operational experience and therefore knowledge of both early and later stage company lifecycles.
